Kristin Chenoweth Injured on The Good Wife Set

Kristin Chenoweth added to her list of onset injuries today after she took a hit to the head and was rushed to a nearby hospital.

While on the Brooklyn set of The Good Wife, the pint sized actress was taken out by a piece of lighting equipment that fell due to a huge burst of wind. A witness told TMZ, “That area is a vortex for wind … and a big gust of wind blew the lighting off the scaffolding,” then added, “I thought she was dead at first.”

Chenoweth didn’t just get hit by the lighting piece, but then hit her head hard as she fell to the concrete floor. 911 was immediately called. Once the paramedics arrived, Kristin was put into a neck brace, and whisked away to Bellevue Hospital in New York.

Again, this isn’t the first time Chenoweth has seen the injured list on set. She injured her neck in 2003 when doing Wicked, fell in 2006 rehearsing on Broadway for The Apple Tree, and hurt her back on Glee when she fell down the stairs.

She was treated for minor injuries and hopefully will have a speedy recovery.

About sunnymenagerie

Socially awkward in most situations most 25 years olds would call easy, that’s me. TV is my soul mate, Music is my mistress and writing is my best friend. Without those three things, I’d be in an insane asylum calling myself Rosa Parks, refusing to sit in the back of the so called bus. I know more about pop culture and celebrities than I do about my family history, and I’d like to keep it that way. Words I live by: We´re all tiny books in one big compilation called life. Some of us will wait for what seems like forever for our climactic part to come. Others will have a romance novel their entire life. Or maybe one filled with just adventure. Or one that is a poetic tragedy. Then, there are those that will have best sellers. You know, the ones that everyone wants to read and base their versions on? Don´t forget the little paperbacks sold at the carwash that only a select few will ever lay eyes on. We´re all born with the power to either take what was written for us or choose our own adventures.
