Usher’s Stepson Brain Dead after Boating Accident

Usher's stepson critically injured in boating accident

Usher’s stepson reportedly pronounced brain dead.

Tameka Foster’s 11-year-old son Kyle Glover is in an Atlanta hospital after being struck on the head by a jet skier while floating in an inner tube on Lake Lanier. The accident is being investigated by authorities.

Usher and his ex-wife Tameka had a short marriage followed by a nasty divorce, but this weekend, the superstar singer made a huge gesture to his former love. Despite all the bad blood between the two, Usher chartered a private plane to take Tameka to the side of her critically injured son!

The relationship between Usher and the several-years-older Foster definitely has its ups and downs. The pair became engaged in January 2007, and their July wedding was cancelled at the last minute, but the couple tied the knot in a private ceremony the next month. Rumors at the time claimed that Usher’s mother was against the marriage.

Two children arrived over the next 18 months, but the pair divorced in 2009, amid rumors that Usher had been unfaithful with one of the bridesmaids from the wedding!

Sometimes tragedy can bring broken families together, and TMZ reports that Foster is very grateful that Usher helped her join her son when he needs her most.
