Roni Reports…

Ledisi @ Funk Fest in Orlando

After a stellar performance at Jazz in the Gardens with such musical heavyweights as Mary J. Blige, Patti LaBelle, and Jill Scott, songstress Ledisi continued her tour throughout Florida with a stop at this year’s Funk Fest in Orlando at Tinker Field. The Grammy nominated artist, known for her unique fashion sense and stunning vocals, lit up the stage yet again. Over the years, Ledisi has been known for the theatrical flair that comes out in her stage attire. She has never been afraid to experiment with her look from her hair down to her feet. Now that summer is here, it is time to play up the color. Whether she is wearing basic black or wowing audiences in vibrant colors, Ledisi always plays it fashion forward. If you were in Orlando, I hope you got to check her out this past Saturday. It was a chance to experience real music and artistry. In other words, music for grown folks.
